So folks, what should KITT's Hoopty Mode be?

It should be for undercover operations in dirt-road redneck areas. A rusty, ugly black ford pickup (the kind that are virtually indestructible) with a snow plow on the fron covered in mud and cow crap.

C'mon, let's change the color. Who uses black in country? I see more red in my area, which is VERY rural. I was thinking a red Ford pickup. Doesn't have to be ugly. Country people do take care of their vehicles, the dust just gets them a bit dirty again. I love the country!

True, no one's got black around here. Red's good. But I mean old, as in farm truck, the kind that gets in an accident and is unscathed but leaves all other cars destroyed.

Actually, figured out the best mode for Hoopty KITT:
1970 Ford Pinto! "The BBQ that could fit four."
Both bumpers hanging on barely with the help of some bailing wire, muffler grinding against the ground, belching out black smoke. The ultimate in Hoopty from Ford!
And it could still be black! Save for the Passenger-side door, which should be a different colour because it came off a different Pinto. ;D

I like it! There should be some camoflague for KITT's voice modulator and stuff, thought.

a really old radio, that would be good camo for his voice modulator.

hey ray...um I don't think a pinto would be a good "hoopty" transformation for KITT! I just don't think it would work even with special effects and camera work. Plus I think Mike would hurt his neck in a pinto. he's a tad taller than the roof! Might as well make KITT a clown car! lol
But I would like to see KITT outfitted with a sunroof!

That, and I'd hate to see KITT get rear-ended and go up in flames.

what about just an old car. Any car... Well, due to "Design Limitations", KITT can only convert into Ford automobiles. So a beat-up old Ford LTD would probably be good. Black, of course. We know he can turn into a Cop Car (Ford Crown Victoria), so a Taxi mode might work perfectly. Put Mike in the back seat, holographically create a "Driver" (Insert Ethnic Joke here), and there you go. "On the cheap".
